The microscopes will support distance learning and allow students to engage with science content, make keen observations and learn about different living things while away from the regular classroom setting. Students will have the opportunity to engage, build and hone their scientific process skills at home while learning about the community around them. The microscopes will enhance student learning at home while providing equity and opportunity for all students through teacher facilitation. I want students to get up close and personal with different organisms and items to reinforce good observation skills and practices. These microscopes support science investigation and exploration of the world around them allowing teachers to share with students and promote learning from a distance.
