The use of a cart to move my teaching materials is intended to decrease the times I am in and out of a classroom, thus decreasing the spread of germs. Implementing the use of a cart to move my materials from my special education classroom to my students' homeroom to teach, will allow me to travel less from room to room preparing materials. This will also provide the ability to easily bring my materials back to my classroom to sanitize them each day. Traveling from room to room less often will decrease the spread of germs across classrooms. The carts will allow me to have one cart for each room I work in, and then bring the cart back to my room to sanitize and switch out materials in one location rather than going back and forth into the classroom.
