I am requesting a color printer and ink to provide my students the color mages and activities they need to recognize what the pictures are and to communicate with the adults around them. I have students who cannot verbalize their wants and needs without the help of pictures. A grey and black picture of a tree does not help me ensure they understand what the color green is on the leaves. Nor does a black and white picture of a toilet. Bright colors ensure they are seeing exactly what they would see almost in a real perspective. Please help these students get to this level. I want them to succeed in their lives. I know that it seems trivial to some, but to me and these children, it is important.
