These materials will help my students to feel more included in our classroom. As of right now, I do not have the quantity needed of specific levels of books. These books will also help to enhance the print-rich environment that I am striving to create. I want my library to be an inviting place to all children regardless of their reading level, which is what this project will help us to do. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of different texts on their individualized reading level. They will also be able to choose books that are interesting to them. The more students read, the more they learn and the more they grow. The best way to mold students into better readers is for them to read more. These book will help them to read more and more. I also believe that this project will help students to love the aspect of independent reading more and more, and to bring them into more contact with printed word.
