Many of the students that I teach are at risk. Many struggle with purchasing items that they need to be successful learners. If students are unable to purchase appropriate headphones for online learning, a set will be given to him/her. This will be especially helpful if students are in a home where multiple students are learning online at once. It will also help them focus without background noise. One of my students in the spring, did not have a working set of headphones. He kept the volume low on his computer so that he wouldn't wake or disturb his family. He was considerate of others but it didn't help his learning.
