One of the most important supplies all of my students get to use, is paper! It is very important to understand the different types of paper and the crucial role they play in each art project. For this reason, I believe that having that organization drawer will help me keep my papers separated, labeled and protected, ready to be used. Having this storage unit will not only help me keep the papers organized, but I will also be able to run my class smother. I only see each grade once a week, for 50 minutes, if I spend less time looking through my supplies trying to find the right paper, I will have more time to actually teach my students. The love for Art my students show always amaze me, no matter how many times I get to experience it. Having to teach over 400 students in a small classroom becomes challenging, particularly for my class, since I can not do it without all the art supplies my students get to learn about and experiment with. Therefore, if we are able to get this project donated, it would mean the world to me, my community and of course my students!
