I teach Special Education (Resource) Algebra at CHS in Fort Worth, Texas. We are a Title 1 school and over 80% of our students are economically disadvantaged. The project that I am asking Post-its, markers, and a whiteboard to help with this project that will allow these students to get more of a jump in the world of Algebra and beyond! The chance to have a more engaging, interactive experience in my class will hopefully allow these students to rid themselves of the shackles of fear and disappointment in their math learning. If this project can give a kid a little boost of confidence, then it will be a success!!
