Personal whiteboards allows students to take charge of their learning and convey their individual levels of understanding despite being separated by a computer screen. During independent and instructional work times in the midst of distance learning, having an erasable platform to practice understanding enables students to visually present the process of their thoughts. Moreover, the whiteboards help enlarge their understanding and allow me to easily assess their understanding throughout instructional time. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and willing to demonstrate their knowledge when they are given an open opportunity to participate in class. The products that I have selected will help my students as they give them additional options to practice and demonstrate their learning beyonds orally projecting their understanding. Especially in this setting of distance learning, students need, more than ever, the space and time to confirm their understanding beyond verbal dialogues. For my students, with the financial struggles their families encounter, providing them with a stable tool for writing ensures their ability to learn.
