STEAM and Art are integral and necessary components of a well-rounded elementary education. I teach both of these topics for elementary students from Kindergarten to 6th grade. In my STEAM classroom, students are given opportunities to engage in meaningful topics and projects. These help them relate and connect to their fellow classmates and to the real world around them. Donations made to my classroom will help me to give my 250 students dynamic and exciting projects with cutting edge technologies, expansive art supplies, and engineering materials that can help to kickstart student learning.
