Learning from home is new to us all! In addition to online instruction, our littles need hands on activities to help keep them motivated and engaged! This project consists of letter tiles, sight word journals, and mini readers in order to create learning from home kits, they are organized and filled with materials that would typically be used in a classroom setting. When students have the hands on materials at home to assist them with learning to read they will be much more successful. These kits provide textile experiences that allow them to manipulate sounds and letters (the foundation of reading) and practice beginning writing skills. This will help all of the students stay on track while learning from home!
