I have an energetic group of students who are chomping at the bit to get started using our technology. Our school is in the early stages of building a Journalism/Photography/Sports Announcing/Videography/Graphics program. Our students will have the opportunity to learn to use a camera, video cams, graphics, and photography software. This will help give them a head start for their future careers as graphic editors, videographers, photographers, sports announcers, and drone footage editors and photographers/videographers. The Ronin Glidecam will allow my students to create high-quality seamless videos that they can use to make school hype videos, local ads for placement on our school newspaper's website. This piece of equipment stabilizes the camera and provides a smooth transition of videos. The Osmo Action can be used as a camera or as a video cam and will enable more of our students to be able to use our videography equipment, as we only have one camera that our students can use. My students are excited and motivated, they just need someone to believe in them and their dreams. They are going to make their mark on this world and it will be a profound one.
