I believe that teaching can take place wherever you are, whether it is in a classroom or at the park. The world and people around us are able to teach us invaluable lessons that can remain with us for years to come. Teaching children from an early age about the importance of diversity and multiculturalism is a key factor in correcting the racial issues that our country if facing today. Whether I am teaching within a classroom or remotely, these books will impact my students as I teach them that ALL lives matter and that we are all important, special, and unique in our own way.
