This year will be different for students in many ways. We will be spending more time in our classroom to limit exposure to possible germs. I would love to give my students flexible seating, especially this year. I have also picked items that I believe are quickly and easily able to be disinfected at the end of the school day. I am also a firm believer in work where you are comfortable. This will allow my sweet students the freedom to spread out amongst the classroom to work too, which is also a win for social distancing. I am excited to ditch the hard plastic chairs and give my sweet second graders some exciting new seating options! Both of these seating options are also great for children in general. Children love to move and the wobble chairs and the balls will be perfect for my children who need that extra stimulation from moving without tipping their chairs backward.
