My young students who have special needs learn with their 5 senses. It is a challenge everyday to meet the unique sensory needs of my students. Sometimes their bodies need certain feedback to help them stay calm and feel safe. The materials I chose will greatly help them and further progress their development. Flexible seating is smart and necessary. The cube chairs I chose will be a much needed addition to our classrooms. It will help increase our student's focus while meeting their sensory simultaneously. The cube design will help cradle their bodies so they feel safe and calm. In a COVID-19 classroom I will need appropriate seating that is easy to clean and easy to transport. Wobble cushions and exercise balls will help them strengthen their core muscles while having the ability to move while working. This year will be a tough year for NYC families and teachers. Teachers will not be receiving their Teacher's Choice money to spend. Any little bit helps in this difficult time. We thank you so much!
