These candies make a great tangible rewards for students who exert effort in doing a good job in classroom tasks. Students are excited to receive candies/chocolates as rewards for participating in activities and tasks in class. These rewards encourage students to participate well and be actively engaged in classroom activities. Students look forward to receiving candies/chocolates after completing difficult tasks. When students work in small groups and complete assigned tasks that require collaborative effort, giving them rewards would encourage them to give their utmost effort because they have something to look forward to receive.
