During free time my students are encouraged to read all types literature and share out what they like and don't like. They make recommendations to their friends, and even me. But at one point during the day, I like to bring them together to read and explore a novel as a whole class. In my class, Reading Words Rules! Books are an important part of a child's life. Allowing them to sit, read and have conversations with their friends about what they are reading helps build their love of reading.
