The supplies I am requesting for my project will help students increase their communication skills, social skills, money skills, and life skills. The coffee cart will be available each Friday to staff members. When a staff member orders a cup of coffee, the students will then use step by step directions to fill the order. Students will have to work together and use their communication skills to make sure each order is filled properly. Once the orders are made, it will be time to deliver it! This will require students to practice their social skills; speaking with staff members, requesting the correct amount of money that is owed. This will also require students to practice their money skills; identifying the correct coins, counting the coins, giving back the correct amount of change. Your donation will help us provide opportunities for students to practice life skills that will help them succeed in life beyond school. We thank everyone in advance for their donations. Myself and my students greatly appreciate it!
