Through research, inquiry, and student testing, I have found that the best way to get my students engaged, hands-on, and excited to learn is through technology! Nothing is more important lately than getting students connected with their learning, and technology can truly build that bridge. My online curriculum (DESMOS) has engaged previous students more than any other lesson set, and with some more technology, these students will thrive as well! It is the most amazing experience to watch my students get excited about ratios while playing battle bots, or learn about rational numbers in a hot air balloon, and I want my class to feel those moments again this year, without worrying about having enough devices. These Fire tablets will help us accomplish this.
