Utilizing the requested therapeutic games, stress thumb balls, calming sounds, and positive tangible reinforcements would allow for students to break down social barriers by engaging in open dialogue with other peers and adults during counseling. By feeling relaxed and supported by peers and adults, our phenomenal students have a chance to embrace who they are by having an opportunity to openly express themselves in a safe environment. Student's often find it easier to interact among peers when games and positive reinforcements are incorporated. The impact of decreasing emotional instability in trauma student’s experiences can change the course of their life.
