My students are set so far back because of COVID. At the beginning of the year most of them hadn't reached kindergarten level mastery of ELA, Math, or social emotional development. They are so far behind and need as much help as they can get. Most of my students come from a background where both parents aren't around and school is really a safe free day-care. Please help me provide my students with tools to help them count, practice reading skills, social emotional learning, coping mechanisms, finding a safe space, and really just feeling comfortable in their own skin. Give me the opportunity to provide some much needed attention to my students. These tools can help them tremendously.
