Students will be able to use the pencils and paper to work out math problems that require multiple steps (long division and multiplication). The graph paper will be of great assistance to all of the students during math. Allowing students to be focused on the numbers and not worried about creating lines. Note taking is an important part of our week in Language Arts and Math, that is where the notebooks and pencils will also be of great use. My students will be engaged in Math and Language Arts using these important supplies. The dry-erase markers will be used daily in both Math and Language Arts. Students use their mini-whiteboards to write down answers to show in class, which makes will make them more engaged and involved.
