I will be using these materials to counsel students while they are learning to become efficient through distance learning, and I am restricted to work from home during COVID-19. I will be able to work more comfortably, effectively, productively from home. I will also have more time to check in with my students regarding their high school graduation track, review their high school transcripts to ensure they are taking the correct courses, make phones and hold meetings online from home, scan/print official documents I need to email/mail to students' homes for signatures. Some of the lesson plans for this school year is to do course progression and transcript review sessions, check in with students regarding their social/emotional wellness, and college/career workshops. These workshops will help to educate students how to take better care of themselves while distance learning from home, as well as setting goals for their future success.
