My elementary art students will delve deeper into art exploration by creating paintings that are based on other cultures while also creating art that shows self-expression. Being inspired by art from other cultures will help students to appreciate and connect to others. By feeling a sense of connection through art, my students will develop empathy towards others and find their own place in the world. Art is a powerful tool that can bring all people together in a positive way. Students feel meaningful connections to others through art! Children learn by creating!
