With these beanbags I will be able to ensure that every student has an opportunity to work on manipulative skills at school or at home with virtual learning. In previous years, I have been able to share P.E. equipment among my students and classrooms but sadly with the presence of Covid, my options to use P.E. equipment has diminished greatly; students still need equipment to be successful with demonstrating and accomplishing specific learning tasks. Beanbags are safe manipulatives that students love using because of their versatility! Especially at the Elementary level, I can help students explore a multitude of skills; imagine throwing and catching, beanbag toss, juggling, balancing on various body parts or even creating a fun dance and rhythmic routine with the sound and help of a beanbag?! The choices are endless and students will be given the opportunity to build their movement and fitness concepts, hand-eye coordination, and body control. Please help me guarantee that all students have access to the same materials no matter where they are. In times such as these where children are confined and limited to space, your help in funding my project would allow me to be able to create opportunities to meet the physical needs of their health as well.
