As a vocalist, I have never needed to purchase an instrument. As an orchestra teacher, I now need to purchase an instrument to better my own playing and show my students correct playing techniques. Perfect practice makes perfect, but to practice I need an instrument! I will use this violin to help my visual learners see the correct hand placement and bow placement, my auditory learners will hear the correct notes coming from the instrument, and all of my students will understand that even me, the teacher, still practices daily to achieve my goals and to improve my playing.
