Weinert Elementary in Seguin, Texas is a title one school with low socio-economic status. These math manipulatives will provide much needed hands on learning experiences for the students. Students will have their individual set of math manipulatives, which is not normally available at a title one school. The students will be able to check out the math manipulatives to take home to use during remote learning. It is imperative for students to have their own set of manipulatives, since they have to social distance during this COVID-19 pandemic. Math Manipulatives have been shown in research to increase student engagement and in concrete learning.

About my class
