Due to the pandemic, teachers will not be receiving any assistance with the materials for the year. I would like to ensure that the students have all they need and unfortunately, I cannot do it on my own. I am a special education teacher with high expectations for all students. My job as an educator is to give them the chance they need to become the next success story they are determined to be. My project will help fund some of NYC's vulnerable. With the opening of the schools, I will do my all to ensure that the children receive the education they deserve. Students whose parents struggle during the pandemic will be able to be provided with the supplies such as books, pens, and planners to be successful in the upcoming year. These supplies will also give me resources to maintain a safe environment for the children by supplying masks if needed and hand sanitizer.
