A Land Remembered is an excellent book to help students learn about Florida history and geography. Students can relate to this story, as one of the main characters is around their age and they are familiar with most of the Florida cities. My students will benefit greatly with a class set of these books. I enjoy having books available for students to explore and expand their interest in reading. Even in 4th grade, students still love teachers reading to them. This will give them the opportunity to listen and follow along to a great story.
