Whiteboards are used almost daily in my math classroom. During distance learning, each of my 70 students will use the whiteboards for problem solving, and sharing their work. When we are back in the classroom, students come to the rug with whiteboards for guided practice and to record modeled strategies for use back at their desks. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. I am requesting 2 markers per student to lengthen the amount of time they will be able to utilize the whiteboards at home. By donating to our project, you will be providing an easy way for students to practice problem solving and demonstrate their thinking. These materials will benefit not only my math classroom, but will also support the instruction in my partner teacher's classroom for English Language Arts and Differentiated Reading.
