These magazines will help my students develop map skills, reading skills, critical thinking skills, and help them foster a love for Social Studies and Reading. The Scholastic News magazine gives our class a variety of Social Studies adventures. The magazine presents current events in ways that engage and captivate my students. Storyworks provide thought provoking reading material in every genre and it draws my students into stories about kids and adults from the past as well as influencers of today. Scholastic provides digital copies with each paper subscription. That means I will be able to provide quality materials to my students whether I am teaching remotely on Google Meets, using a hybrid model, or if we are all back in the classroom together.
