Sitting in a desk all day can become boring and restless for many students. Flexible seating is becoming very popular amount high schools as a way for students to be more engaged in class lessons. I am wanting to add a wall of bar/counter height skinny tables and bar stools to my class to give students the option to sit or stand along the wall and charge their laptops. I want the room to have a coffee shop/cafe feel. I already have a sofa in the room along with some lower to the ground flexible seating options. I am wanting to add the narrow row of flexible seating. Many of my students stood along that wall last year. With these tables, students will have a surface to work on as well.
