To help students master missed math skills during the closure and progress to second grade skills, I would greatly appreciate dice to assist in math facts. Most students were unable to complete the brief first grade concepts covering money. The magnetic bills and coins would help students visualize the amount each dollar and coin is worth as we count them as a class daily. Regrouping will be difficult for students who are still working on basic math facts. To ensure students have a better understanding, a regrouping chart will be of great use for both individual and whole class practice. These items will be much used and appreciated as we try to fill gaps and move ahead in the second grade math program.
