A new rug will provide a warm and welcoming feeling to our classroom. Currently, our floor has lots of spots due to the removal of carpet. A new rug will cover up some of those spots. It will provide my students with a richer environment to learn. A new classroom rug will also provide a healthy space where my students can read, complete activities, and practice skills. A rug can offer alternative seating arrangements, for students who require varied learning environments. It creates more space to discover, community build, play, and share. Students will be able to spread out and practice social distancing while learning. I want this new rug to help provide my students a with sense of normalcy. Every classroom deserves to have a classroom rug as its anchor.
