Do you remember being captivated by the illustrations that seemed to leap from the pages of your newly checked out library book? Or the last time you perused the book store and felt compelled to pick up a book because the colors drew you in?!? The experience just described is that of one that fosters a life long learner, stokes curiosity, and helps to develop an eager avid reader. This is the experience I would love to create and ensure for the 120+ incoming Kindergarten students that will meet a classroom like never before. Our adjustments and ability to stretch due to the COVID-19 pandemic have been extraordinary! We are finding thrilling ways to bring resources to students via iPad and other technological resources. While the newly mandated sanitation standards prevent our classroom libraries from being "shopped" like they once were, we have located educational resources that allow us to print leveled literature, ensuring our reader's growth while fostering that same love for learning and reading that would be found in your standard paper-based book! Technology will allow us to print individualized literature pieces and color will aid in bringing that literature to life! The purchase of this color printer will support the printing of approximately 6,000 color pages, engaging students with each populated page! How thrilling! My budding college students thank you in advance for supporting their growth and academic endeavors with your support today.
