The materials and supplies that I am requesting will help enrich my students' learning. The counters, unifix cubes, dice, dominoes, connecting cubes, and bear counters will be used to create hands-on learning experiences for students to develop strong number sense. The pocket chart will be used to do calendar activities that also reinforce numbers and the days of the week. The place value blocks will help them understand the base ten system that we use. The clear containers will be used to store these wonderful new manipulatives and make it easy for my students to access them. The construction paper will be used for them to integrate art with math projects and connect their creativity with math concepts. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of math and help them develop strong number sense. By allowing them to participate in lots of hands-on activities where they count, represent, and identify numbers, they will gain the fundamental skills that we use everyday in our lives. I truly need your support to give my students the tools they need to be successful. Thanks!
