The books that I am requesting will allow my students to read a variety of novels to enhance their comprehension and fluency skills. As a first-year teacher, I came into an almost empty room. There was no material for the students to read and hardly any manipulatives. With your kind donations, I will be able to build a library of fictional novels for the students to read during small groups and free time. This will help grow their love for reading as they dive into a great book!
