As we go back to school this year, there are so many concerns in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. I will be adapting my classroom library routine to fit social distancing guidelines. My classroom library is now on an online database so that my students can use their devices to search for books and check out books from the library. One of the best ways to keep my classroom library available and safe is to provide my students with a personal book bin that they can keep at their desks. As students check out their books from the online database, I will put their books into their book bin. At the end of the week, these books will be quarantined before going back into the library and the book bins will be sanitized.
