This year, my students and I are beginning the year with a big challenge ahead of us-- Teaching and learning online! But, I know we are up for the challenge. We are lucky enough to have Chromebooks for every student. This project will help me provide engaging and educational content for my students. Students will be able to access interesting and engaging curriculum with short and entertaining videos. These resources will benefit my students and support them during distance learning. Distance Learning with Mrs. E will help my fourth graders access the curriculum in a fun and exciting way. But I need your help. BrainPop is a group of educational websites with over 1,000 short animated movies for students in grades K-12, together with quizzes and related materials, covering the subjects of science, social studies, English, math, engineering and technology, health, and arts and music. BrainPOP creates animated resources that support educators and engage students - in school, at home, and on mobile devices. The content includes movies, quizzes, games, mobile apps, activity pages, and much more covering hundreds of topics. All content is aligned to and searchable by state standards including Common Core. Flocabulary is a Brooklyn-based company that creates educational hip hop songs, videos and additional materials for students in grades K-12. Founded in 2004 by Blake Harrison and Alex Rappaport, the company takes a nontraditional approach to teaching vocabulary, United States history, math, science and other subjects by integrating content into recorded raps. Flocabulary's website features videos, lesson plans, activities and assessment all with songs. Please support my DonorsChoose project to provide classroom licenses for online resources.
