These journals will give the students a fun and bright activity to do do away from the computer. It will allow a parent to get involved with a pencil and paper assignment. My students have always loved these journals because they are durable and last the entire year. The project last for the entire school year. At the end of the year the students enjoy looking back and seeing the tremendous progress they have made and how they transition from being good writers to Great writers. It is designed to help the students learn to love writing.
