For a drummer in a jazz band, playing on a drum set is an essential musical experience. Unfortunately, the time on an instrument can get very limited when there are two to three other drummers in the band. Our school does not have enough actual drums for our students to use, and if there was it would be too loud of an environment. Having an electronic drum kit will open up the opportunity for our students to spend more time on a drum set without disrupting the flow of jazz band rehearsals. An electronic drum set will allow students to practice at home during distance learning at a reasonable volume. It will prevent disruptions within the household and community. Your generous donation will help keep students motivated and involved during these unprecedented times.
