It is best practice for early childhood students to use manipulatives to make learning connections. Students need to use their hands to touch, manipulate and create. By providing hands on materials for early learners we will build connections for life. Students will use the STEM wave builders to see how to connect and build. Students will use the color puzzle to build understanding. Students will use the shape sort so that they will begin to make real world connections to the objects around them. Hands- on learning is the best way for me to help my students.
