We are a special education classroom in a Title I school. We service beautifully diverse students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Our students come from varied backgrounds. Their day may not start easy at home, but once they are in our school they know they are loved and that their teachers are their biggest supporters. Our mathematicians, readers and writers struggle at their grade level. So, we meet them where they are. We encourage their growth in math, reading & writing by meeting them where they are academically and providing support. Our students are rewarded for their hard work. As they work we pass out bucks that are used to purchase nutritional rewards. Our students are so excited to work towards earning bucks, to purchase their snacks with.
