We are a small K-5 neighborhood school, very close to the US and Mexico border. Many of the students are from low income or single-parent families. Due to the COVID-19 mess, many families will find it hard to purchase the needed school supplies for this 2020-2021 school year. My students are very eager and excited to start learning this year. Having the right supplies will make that possible and less stressful for my kiddos. I have seen so many students feel embarrassed and be upset because they don't have the supplies they need.
