As a first year teacher this upcoming September, I want to be able to support the needs of my students with learning materials in any way I can. The items will allow my students to have materials both at home and in the classroom. These hands-on materials and supplies will help further their thinking. My students will benefit from having materials such as highlighters, color post-its, and markers to support their organizational needs.
Students with disabilities need multiple supports to help them engage in their learning both at home and in the classroom.
COVID-19 has left a huge economical impact on my students and school community. I have included cleaning supplies such as disinfecting wipes, disinfecting sprays, and hand sanitizers to ensure my students will have a clean and safe classroom environment. I want my students to feel at ease in the classroom knowing cleaning supplies are available for them to use. Also, my students are going to need many supplies for in-person learning or remote learning in order to engage in their learning experiences. Anchor charts will be used as visuals in order for students to use as a guide in their learning in the classroom or if we continue to learn remotely. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will fundamentally help to increase their academic achievement and success.
