The students in my class enjoy reading about real life events, people, animals and places. Providing them with Scholastic News, Science Spin, and Storyworks they will be able to do just that. This will give them text that will hold their interest and keep them engaged. The students will be able to use the material not only in the classroom but at home using the website included with their subscription. Students who struggle will pick up magazines because of there bright colored pictures, and visuals. The text is less intimidating than a typical book. When reading, students find Scholastic magazines fun and enjoyable.
