Students use whiteboards and math manipulatives on a daily basis in the classroom. The use of manipulatives helps boost their confidence and makes learning math fun. If students are at home, it will make it easier for them to complete math assignments. They will be able to write on their boards and hold them up for me to see and understand any misconceptions before they do independent practice. Students also read and complete comprehension questions daily. By having an abundance of reading passages, I can differentiate the reading assignments for students.
