While many of my students get excited about reading, many are behind on their literacy journey in education. To help them move along to be confident in their educational travels, I am creating a leveled reading library that includes books that range in grade level from early elementary to middle school. This reading area will support the independent reading levels of all of my students while introducing them to quality literature.
I would like to encourage my students to read many genres of literature. It not only keeps our students reading, but helps develop a love for literature at a young age.
With your help, our students will have the opportunity to find books at their reading level, making reading more desirable and interesting. As the students begin developing their reading skills at their reading level they will then develop a wider vocabulary and stronger reading skills. With this order, the leveled library will include picture books, graphic novels, award winning books, and books that will challenge my students at all levels while broadening and expanding their imaginations. Your generous donations will help make learning and reading meaningful and accessible for ALL my students. You will help create a wonderful resource to some awesome students!
