At my school site we have the paper. I want to give each student 2 drawing pencils, an eraser and colored pencils. With these materials my students can create projects such as paleo art and scientific illustration. Paleo art where we study the La Brea Tar pits using virtual field trips and other on-line resources. Then students choose any animal found in the tarpits draw it with it’s surface quality (Fur, feather, scales etc.) add a simple background. Scientific illustration where we study urban wildlife in zoom meetings and on-line research using the app inaturlist.
