The various bean bag chairs will be used in the sensory rooms and as alternative seating. At times students will struggle and get frustrated with either tasks or with people around them. When students are struggling they can go to the sensory room to regain control of their feelings and emotions and then be able to return back to the task. While in the sensory rooms, some students like to put the beanbags on top of their bodies that needed pressure, to hide under them to make the room dark, and to also be able to sit in them and think. The other use for them is as alternative seating. Students that struggle to complete assignments in group settings, can bring a beanbag to other spaces in the classroom to be able to complete the task given.
