Our students are in a titleone school. They have limited items at home that expose them to subject matter that will inspire inquiry. Their scope of knowledge is a bit less than optimum because of the reality of limited parental ability to provide opportunities to learn from. Vacations and even trips to a library are few to none. Literature and hands on games that teach young minds how to explore all kinds of possibilities are sadly non-existent in many ways. I want to provide as many stimulating aspects of our classroom that will inspire them to want to jump in and begin the learning adventures. When a room is neat, calm. Cheerful, with colorful and organized materials, their first emotions will be positive and excitement. The inquiries immediately begin when they start asking what something is, what is it used for, and when do they get to use it. Your generous gifts are fundamental to have that atmosphere.
